okay. i contacted the guy about the intense and he said he'd go for it for 1700 minus the fork.

yeah i'll be racing O-Cup dh this year. not fortune, just too far away.
pretty much just shits and giggles. but if i like it i'll make something out of it. intended build was just a DH beater that i could rip on and progress from there. like i said i was thinking about buying an intense uzzi vpx or a devinci frantik. i have a devinci johnson as of now but it's too small for my liking and i need to sell it. ive been out trail riding but this will be my first time doing DH, not exactly sure what i am, probably a bit of both, rock kicker and a line picker. you know the noob way until i learn. i'm not too hard on my bike but i like to see what they and myself are capable of. ive scared myself a few times during rides, found it quite amusing. if that helps at all.

hey man wonderin if you could help me out.
i'm racing Dh this season and need a DH bike. However, i will be riding trails when i'm not racing. would the uzzi be an ok choice since it has vpp and i do like to climb? other bikes i was considering is frantik, rm switch 2.0

40's aren't externally adjustable?
what if i'm doing DH runs at Blue Mountain then i'm wanting to run some All mountain? is it hard to adjust them? what would i need to do to adjust them?

hum. i'm not sure. i hear boxxer teams would be better cause i'll be racing.
ive got a buddy that is gunna sell me his 40's for 425 but they need a cartridge rebuild. how expensive are those?
ive also got a boxxer team ready to go for 450.
I am racing DH O-Cup this year so i duno?
what would be my best bet to go with?

alright thanks.
i didn't know that i could internally adjust it. if i upgraded to a WC could i externally adjust it? i was going to get a boxxer team. the one guy i PMed has a 2007 boxxer team for 450 shipped. i think i'm going to buy that.

Lower BB?! Naeh, My contract with Turner ended after this season and I wasn't really interested in staying for one more year and I've been secretly in love with the Iron Horse Sunday in the past 2 years.. So I've finally come out of the closet Wink

The rolling resistance of the 32 wasn't all that bad, but the 16 was ALOT of resistance. That being said, I blew out my front brake on moose mountain, and rode down with it on the back and only the back brake, and survived. Its got ungodly traction, and weight but i haven't ridden ANYTHING with more grip.

Hi mate,

As far as I remember I had a 425 coil on my Turner DHR in 2008.
I'm turning to Iron Horse for 2009 though, but I hope everything works out for you with the new DHR and all Smile

yeah they're fubar'd there is no air preeload on the rc2x, as for adjustment's. If it's not topping out and only bottoms out on occasion ( for me this only happend on REALLY big drops, and then only a few times so far ) then No I have no real usefull info, easyest to set up at a hill where you can mess around with your settings without having to hike All the way back up.. otherwise set it and forget it.... Soooooooo much better than my crappy old fox 40.. know anyone that wants a High-maintenance fork ??
